Whistle While You Work

Well, lets see. I’ve been back in the coding game for more than a day now. It is so nice to be in a position to solve problems, and develop new and better ways to do things. My job is basically to take several different generations of programs and convert them all over to ASP.NET. Sounds pretty easy so far, I’m sure there is something more to it. Until then, I will simply do my best to get the job done.

On the home front, I have spent more than a week cleaning and building and organizing. No room in the house is completely done yet, but it is looking much better than it did. The entertainment room is closest to clean. But the colder it gets outside, the colder that room gets inside…I’m gonna have to rip the room apart and just rebuild it. The only way to get it right.

The office is close too. One room has been converted into an office. I’ve built two cabinets to organize papers, and such. Hopefully that room will be clean by Friday. I have to move the 19″ monitor out of there yet.

My room is still a mess, but with the addition of two new chest of drawers, things are looking up. The living room and kitchen are still a joke, but they too need to be ready by Friday. Looks like I have more work at home than I do at work.

I’m dreaming of a White Christmas, just like the ones shown on TV!
