My system is down, what do I do?
It’s unfortunate, but sometimes a company has to experience a complete server failure before I’m invited to help. During these crises having a Database Engineer with a great breadth and depth of skills is most helpful. We can help you troubleshoot your problems from your end users, through your application and onto the database server and back again. My system is slow, what can I do?
Databases are living, breathing things. You can’t just build it, and turn it loose. Over time you’ll collect more and more information in that database, this growth comes at a cost. Sometimes it’s just drive space, but most often it requires more. We’ve spent years working with databases, we understand how they grow and change with time. We help you identify what’s causing the slowdowns, and get your system running faster than the day it was released!
My current employee is unreachable and I have a problem, what do I do?
If your IT staff is smaller, you may not have redundancy. If your Database Administrator is on vacation, or out sick, you may not have anyone else in your company capable of handling your emergencies that come up. Rather than hiring more people to cover these times, we can augment your staff. We can be your extra personnel to fill in when you need us. Saving you the expense of extra personnel!
