Job Description is looking for a System Administrator for a contract to hire opportunity in Salem, NJ.
We are looking for a Virtualized Windows and Exchange Infrastructure Administrator. This individual will be responsible for server support, upgrades and backups / disaster planning for the NJ data center and other locations.
Requirements / Experience:
Microsoft Server 2008, Active Directory, Group Policy Administration
Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010 administration, support and upgrades
VMware ESX / vSphere on iSCSI storage preferably Dell EqualLogic
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects with minimal supervision
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Strong organization, decision making and troubleshooting skills
Desire to learn and advance
Able to work off normal business hours when required
Monitor and tune the systems to achieve optimal performance
Provide technical assistance to IT support staff
Professional appearance and attitude
Focus on providing excellent customer service
Experience with Microsoft Office products

1. 2+ years of experience Microsoft Server experience, including support, upgrades and back ups, domain server, print servers, active directory and group policy
2. Administration, Support and Upgrades of Microsoft Exchange 2003 or 2007
3. Experience working in a Virtual Environment with VmWare. This person does not have to be a vmware expert or architect, however our client is a virtual environment they would like someone who has at least touched on vmware or worked in a virtual environment.
