Job Description Company Information: Our client is a leading aerospace, engineering, technical, and management services firm. They are located in Lanham, MD and support the federal government most notably NASA. They specifically service NASA on satellite technologies for both physical craft and tablet applications.
The ASP.NET Node.js developer is a new added team member who must have a passion for technology and the ability to creatively use technology at work. The ideal candidate will seek out challenges and want to grow professionally into a technical lead. The application being worked on for NASA is a multitier asp.net SQL server application. After successfully completing work on this project candidates will be transitioned to new work in our client’s pipeline using technologies like Node.js, WebGL, and HTML5.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 4 years experience with ASP.net with C#
SQL Server experience in addition to CSS, HTML, and AJAX
A strong attention to detail
Desire to become a technical lead or move up quickly in company by having good oral and written communication skills
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated experience in application development using Microsoft tools and technologies
Demonstrated experience in configuration management, change control, and SDLC.
Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
ASP.NET experience must include layered development
Candidates must be eligible for a DOD Secret Clearance
Desired:
BS Degree in Computer Science from a 4 year accredited University
Experience with Node.js
Experience with HTML5
Experience with WebGL
