Job Description The Sr. QA Analyst will be responsible for conducting software testing for Data Warehouse. QA testing requirements: Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS package, RDL report, data cube. Environments/technologies: SQL Server, SharePoint, UC4.
This individual must be able to lead 12 team members, perform test planning, create test approach, write test plans and test cases based on business requirement and technical specifications; conduct white box, module level, functional, integration, regression, and automation testing; design, implement, and execute test automation for Data Warehouse testing.
Required:
Strong technical skills in SQL, Dynamic SQL, QA automation (either using automation tools or programming language) and database.
Must have strong handson experience in data warehouse testing and concepts.
5+ years software life cycle QA testing experience.
Excellent in troubleshooting and isolating issues within the system(s) and root cause analysis.
Strong experience in writing test plan and test cases based on use case, business requirement, and technical specification/design documents. Experience with multiple testing methodologies.
Experience with defect tracking tools and defect life cycle.
Must be able to work under self direction with minimal supervision and guidance. Prioritize tasks and coordinate with team members, other teams, and business users.
Excellent people skills when interacting with developers and users. Must be a team player!
Must be a process & efficiency driven person and strong knowledge and practice of SDLC.
Excellent analytical, verbal, and communication skills.
Lead experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science strongly preferred.
