Job Description Our client, a large financial institution, located in Jersey City is seeking a SQL Server Developer to join their growing team. This position has high visibility and the individual will play an important role in mission critical projects.
The successful candidate will be tasked in SQL Server Development, database architecture, indices, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
To be qualified for this position, the successful candidate must be a self starter with the ability to investigate and work independently without supervision. This person must have good communication skills and a strong technical background. Candidates should have financial industry experience and be able to gain clearance. Candidates must be available to interview with 48 hours notice and start with 2 weeks notice.
Required Skills:
- 10 YEARS OF DATABASE DEVELOPMENT PREFERABLY WITH SQL
- EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF DATABASE ARCHITECTURE
- INDICES
- STORED PROCEDURES
- EXPERIENCED WITH DESIGN AND APPLICATION ARCHITECTURE
- UNIX/ LINUX SHELL SCRIPTING IS A PLUS
- FINANCIAL PRODUCT OR INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
- PERFORMANCE TUNING
