Microsoft Requests Feedback

Posted on June 4, 2010September 27, 2010 by slowder

The Senior Director of Product Planning for Windows Azure, Mike Wickstrand, is soliciting feedback on how to make Azure even better.  There’s even a site with user submitted suggestions at http://windowsazure.uservoice.com/forums/34192-windows-azure-feature-voting.  You can submit your own ideas, or read through the list and vote for others’ ideas.

I think this is a great idea.  If they can continually improve this product based on the users’ feedback, they’ll have the best cloud-based solution in the business!  I’ve been pretty happy with my development in SQL Azure.  I haven’t gotten to the Windows Azure, and probably never will.  I hope to outsource that portion of my projects.  But knowing that if anyone on my team comes across something that they genuinely feel can be made better, and knowing Microsoft is there to listen.  That’s definitely something to consider when choosing a cloud-based platform.

Keep it up Microsoft!
