I was looking for a good reference book to use in creating training lessons for the site. I have to say this book is great for that. Lucky for me, it’s not as good at actually teaching you. I’d say it does a little better than the Books On Line, but not by a lot.
It has helped me group some of my topics together. You’ve no doubt noticed I’ve started re-labeling some of my posts with series numbers like 101, 302, etc. I’m trying to group my topics in levels and courses, to try and make it a little easier for you to follow. I’m trying to prevent confusion that comes from jumping from an introduction into a graduate level topic overnight.
Back to the book. Get it for reference, not for training and you’ll do fine. Or, you can just use my site and let it serve as both 🙂
